 Deep CoverRussell Steven, played by Laurence Fishburne, is a cop with a grudge against drugs. His father was a drug dealer and that's what killed him. He's recruited against his will to go undercover into the drug underworld where he meets David Jason (played by Jeff), a dirty lawyer who has big dreams for producing designer drugs but not enough smarts to pull it off alone. Soon, Steven is sucked deeper and deeper into the drug world until he becomes what he's hated all his life.This is an unusual role for Jeff. He doesn't often play such a dark character but he does a good job of it. I found the movie very interesting and the twists in the story are enough to give it 3 stars. Beware, this movie has lots of sex, drugs, foul language and other bad elements. If you're going to rent this, don't bring it home for the kiddies! It rates:
