Jeff as D.H. Banes in Igby Amanda Peet, Jared Harris, Kieran Culkin, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman round out the cast of the indie feature "Igby Goes Down" for writer-director Burr Steers and Atlantic Streamline.

"Igby" is a wry, poignant comedy about a keenly smart, indolent, sarcastic teenager (Culkin) struggling with a dysfunctional family: a hostile, pill-popping mother (Susan Sarandon) and an emotionally detached but favored older brother (Ryan Phillippe). Shuttled from one school to the next, Culkin's character ultimately goes on the lam to New York and tries to make sense of it all while hiding out with his godfather, D.H. Banes (Goldblum) and his mistress (Peet) and her performance artist friend (Harris) and falling in love with a quirky dropout (Claire Danes).
