You're famous for your woolhat (even though you hate it). Your mother invented Liquid Paper so you are rich. You're also rich from your many ventures in music (actually, it's from suing after the ventures failed. Semantics!). Because of this and because you hate touring, you never tour with the other Monkees.
You may never tour but you do peddle you wares on your website. Being the most business minded Monkee, you charge about $40 for you autograph.
You do play your own instruments and you write your own music. You were the most musical Monkee and you were the main force behind the Monkees gaining control of their music. Of course, once you got control sales went down. Who cares? Most fans quote "Headquarters" as their favorite album. Most consider you the most talented Monkee.
You have a bad temper and it's gotten you in trouble a few times. One famous time being when you smashed a studio wall with your fist and turned to your manager saying, "That could have been your face." I know he should have let you record what you want, but sheesh!
